Aims and Goals
- To give the patient the best possible dentures both functionally and aesthetically. - To improve the clinician/technician communication and teamwork - To offer the individual the best advice and options for them - To give the patient the confidence and feel that they are wearing true to life dentures. ![]() 'The True to Life Denture' on the illustration above right is made with gingival imitation. The gingiva has been pulled slightly back off the teeth which is natural for people over 40-45 years. This will help make the smile look less compact. The use of multicoloured acrylic for imitation of the gingiva together with the use of MYERSON Special Teeth with individual transparent colour variations and darker canines provides a natural looking denture.
The illustration on the above left shows the patients old complete denture. The denture was made in the 'old fashioned' way, the pink acrylic is thus plain and smooth and goes far down between the teeth which makes the smile look very compact. The teeth are without variation in shade, there is no surface structure and the teeth have no individual characterisations. Consultations can be arranged directly or by referral from your dentist. Consultation You know how you want your teeth to look; you have an ideal image in your mind. During the consultation, we pay attention to what you say, and take this into account when we make your dentures. We explain the suitability of the materials, show you the makes of teeth, and if there are technical problems we will explain them with you.
